  1. Ok, so I went to the web site again. The first time I just looked at the products. Everything was one of two prices, so I thought this was weird. So I go again after finding out this is associated with the white van co. This time I looked more closely. I go to contact info. Just 4-5 lines of how to get a hold of them. That's all the page had. Looked at other pages, like "about us" and realized someone made this whole webpage probably in a day of two if they are good. There isn't much info on any of the speakers. So I am dead set that this is strickly a rip off company. I couldn't find anyting about dealers. They want you to purchase online or over the phone. Other companies you tell what you want, they show what you ordered, talk about contract, etc. THIS COMPANY FIRST THING THEY WANT IS A CREDIT CARD NUMBER! The have a little motto, "you save when you buy directly from us." Probably cause you can't buy from anywhere else. Maybe you can but I didn't see it. Why would anyone buy something that expensive w/o listening to it first. I really want to visit that guy now. See if he got ripped off or if he is trying to rip people off.

  2. No I think this kid actually paid the full price for these and now is trying to sell them. If he is, poor him. On his flyers around campus he gives his number and room, maybe I'll check them out and see what he has to say.

  3. Rangersix, see you could post that your phone fell off the charger in my "Damage your subwoofer has done" post under powered subwoofers. I know that there has to be better stories than what is listed in there.

  4. Anyone ever heard of this company before? Someone at my college is selling these because he said they are too big for his dorm and he doesn't want to keep moving them. He is selling them for $1000 for the pair, MSRV is $1499 each. I don't intend on buying them at all, but just wondering what peoples opinions of these speakers were. The web site is www.doggdigitalaudio.com and it lists their other speakers there. Not much variety. Also everything is like one of two prices. Doesn't seem right to me. The tweeters are made of silk fiber or something like that. Isn't silk suppost to be one of the cheapest materials for tweeters? Or since its silk fiber or whatever is it better?

  5. I'm not sure if I totally understand your question. Do you want to know what to set your receiver to when watching various things? I also have the Denon 2802. Here is what I do:

DVD: Auto, then it can detect Dolby Digital or DTS automatically, the receiver will play the correct one with the best sound.

VCR: Prologic II. It will turn your stereo 2 channel sound into 5.1 and will might also use the rear center as Boa once told me, but the rear center won't be a unique sound as true 6.1

TV/Tuner: Your choice. I do 5/6 channel stereo because its loud. You could also do Prologic II, or NEO:6, or what ever you want. Based on what you like or want to hear.

    Hope this answers your question.

  6. I am guessing the RB-3's and ksw10 would out perform the RF-3II's at least in bass. But if I were you I wouldn't buy the ksw 10. Too small, your gonna want to upgrade right away. there is a huge(not even comparable) difference between the ksw 10 and rsw 10 in bass. But I also understand what the other difference is too. Huge money difference. I however would save for a better sub. Just my opinion.

  7. I agree with the majority here. You will definately get more bass with the RSW-10 plain and simple. But what you really want is the RF-3II's. But, they won't put out near the bass of the RSW-10. So buy the RF-3II's and save to buy a good sub later. If you buy the RB-5's you won't have the same full sound as you get with the RF-3II's, so your gonna spend more money upgrading later. Also if you have a cheap sub, continue using it. Don't spend $250 on a cheap sub and get a better one latter cause that is just throwing away money, cause when you want to sell the $250 sub your only get $75 for it. So just get the RF-3II's and save for a good sub.

  8. Back to the advertising. Does anyone else think that Klipsch's ads totally suck? I do, they are boring, and dark/dull colored. I think they need a new marketing department. If I didn't have a local Klipsch dealer I would have never thought about buying them.
