The Buckeye's wheels feel off the last couple of games. Some are whining, but heck they'll be ok. Just another day at the office. Deeper bench would help but we'll see what happens down the road. Would be nice to get a couple of the big boys that have been talking to OSU. It'll sort! Not much hoops this wkend since it was Senior Day for the Lady Buckeye's so I was in Cbus for that. One proud Dad today when Kelsey Mitchell came up huggin on my old butt. Asked her if she needed me to walk her out on the floor and she said, "anytime you want!" Then her Dad showed up and burst my bubble. She's gonna be one tough baller in the WNBA! Hopefully your wife put the Sparty stuff back on the car now Diz! You'll be fine

Hmmm, I kinda like all the chewin' and thunkin going on in here. The Buckeyes were rollin B1G time against Iowa scoring almost at will. Sure they were happy being #1 and it was also nice seeing the Schott "Sold Out" for the first time in 4 years. Coach WILL have to keep them on point for the remainder of the season. Penn State, ichigan will be must win games as well as the others remaining. Sparty should move up to #1, which would be nice for those in the IZZONE. Was a great game to watch especially w/that long 3 ball at the end... Coolness factor implemented!!! Gonna be a shoot out in the B1G!

Speaking for most that are following OSU hoops this year, Neil. I really don't think any OSU fan expected them to play this well. Holtmann's addition has truly showed promise but recruiting will tell the tale. These kids are Matta's recruits for the most part. They're ballin though and I'm sure recruits are seeing their flair. It's all good!

Just a minor error in the thought process... OSU spanked Sparty early (16), OSU had knocked the lil Boiler down last nite by 1... Gonna get interesting real quick w/Purdon't in East Lansing on ESPN @ 4 Saturday afternoon... Sparty HAS to man up just as Purdon't does... Tough to win in East Lansing, soooo let the cards fall where they may. We all know that OSU isn't a top 10 team but what a year so far... OSU doesn't face either team again this year.

Yup, the high school DJ here who was always pulling something to get close to my love for music. I can remember meeting Brenda Lee and Leslie Gore at our county fair. Still have those signed 45's too... Then when I could actually take the car to "lap" downtown in 1965 with everyone else I got bored. I'd heard about this Joe Walsh dude from Cleveland and this place called "The Roostertail" in Detroit where ALL the Motown groups played. Yea, I had to... Grab someone and drive 2 hours to Cleveland so see Joe playing @ the Painesville Armory teen club on Sunday afternoons. Became friends with him there and still am today. The Roostertail was a different story, 3 hours up and 3 hours home yet we managed to pull it off and saw so many great groups. Naturally, that all progressed into more of an addiction. Winter of 66 or early 67 took a shot in a blizzard to Lima, Ohio, which is a couple hours West of me. The Yardbirds w/ Clapton and Jimmy Page... Had the opportunity to meet them that night. The highlight? Jimi @ Vets Memorial in Cbus, Ohio from the orchestra pit. Conned some bkstage passes and got an invite back to their suite after the show. Yup, just follow us when we leave. Cops on Harley's and there we were being way cool. More to the story? Mmmhmmm tons... That's my story and I'm stickin to it. Legends? Influence? Nah. I'm totally whacked!
