WS65711: The picture is perfectly crystal clear. We have the full screen version of pirates of the carribean and the picture quality is just fine. I'd expect the wide screen to be no different.

Been awhile since I last visited Klipsch website. My Promedia 4.1's I still have now that I bought nearly 2 years ago are still alive and well. I have a kenwood VR-606 receiver that came with the 5 disc carousel but that died. So I got a new dvd player which plays all kinds of formats. My question is I'm not sure where to start for speakers for this receiver. THe speakers I have now are ok, the sub is especially good but I've always likes the klipsch sound quality that comes from my computer speakers. What would go well with my receiver?

I got the cp-1 from you a couple of weeks ago and just got my replacement sub so I could use it since then. I use it and noiced the sub cut off ever so often. I had the fully functial original control pod and when I plug it into that, the sub works perfectly even when I giggle it, it still works. But whereas the cp-1 control pod if I giggle it sometimes I can get the sub to work, others times it won't work right. So, I think there is something wrong with the control pod connector because the original works fine. However the sats work just fine on both control pods but it's just the sub porton on the connector that seems to be messed up. I assume the pod would be under warranty. All I got in the box was just the control pod and I'm sure you might be able to look me up when I bought the cp-1 pod. I was just wondering if I can get a replacement because there is something wrong with this one. ------------------ louder is cool, quality is essential

Yeah the when I got the v.2-400's. I was so excited, I hooked everything up and got everthing going But then I plug it in and no power. . I tried everything I could think of yet it never seemed to work like it should. Not even the led indicator showed a green light.<[img SRC="http://216.37.9.58/ubb/cwmsmilies/cwm23.gif" border=0> The thing was, the sub never even made a thump sound when I plugged it in. So my only guess was that the power supply was not working. The guy who owns the computer shop is a big computer place also dealing with Klipsch as a major dealer of selling those speakers. His computer shop is in Hope, arkansas which is very close to one of the Klipsch warehouses. I called his computer store like at 9 at night and surprizingly a guy answered and he said it's likely that the power transformer for the ac/dc is not working. This was my guess. So I left my e-mail and # for the guy who sold them on ebay to call me back. Well he did just that in the morning and I told him the problem. he said to keep my 4 sats and to just send back the sub. now your probably thinking do they work. yes they do as I tested them out on low volume on my shelf stereo and all 4 work perfectly. In his computer store, he gets used Klipsch sets and when he gets them, he computer shop replaces everthing in the sub with newer parts so that it's all new to be sold such as on ebay which is where I got if from. I even asked this prior to bidding. Alot of times, he said if you send it back to klipsch, they chage like $50 and they ONLY fix what the problem is but he along ith a Klipsch engineer helps him replace the parts with newer stuff so he can sell it from his computer store or from ebay. He said to go ahead and send back the sub and he'll send me a new one. Said he would throw in a pod if he has any. And that if I refer a friend from me to him that he'd give them a good deal on speakers. That's pretty nice and quick service if you ask me. I'm still awaiting my cp-1 control pod and not sure if it has gotten here yet and I'm not sure when amy sent it out but hopefully it gets here soon if it hasn't gotten here yet. Soon enough when I get my sub I'll be a happy camper. Weird why the power supply didn't work unless a transistor got damaged during shipping. I'm not sure. Funny thing was he says they test everyone before they ship. So it must have gotten damaged in shipping. Ain't no fuse on the back of the sub to tell whether that was damaged so hopefully when I get the new sub that everything will be ok. I'll let ya guys know what goes on. I'm excited about them. I don't have a CC and I got the v.2-400 from ebay. However, I noticed the CP-1 upgrade on Kplipsch website and I would like to get this to further enjoy my experience with the speaker set.
