I think i will stick with the compact sub,which leads me to my new question. I can pick up a new KS for $600 or a new SPL1200 for $800.00, which is the best bang for the buck?

Check E-Bay, I'm sure I have seen what you are looking for. If I'm not mistaken ther may be a pair of 8.5 available as you read.

Ok folks,I have it narrowed down to two subs,the paradigm 2200 or the carver knight shadow. Please cast your vote(and make my life easy!)

since finding a pair of ksp s6's is darn near impossible, what do you think about using a pair of kb 5,s when matched with klf 20,s and kcl 7?

I have a pair of ESS AMT 1D's with two blown woofers. My question is, should I just replace the woofers with stock ESS twelves from the factory, or use the Heli tweets and build from scratch. I never was to impressed with the bass response(cabinet too small possibly?), or another option of replacing the woofers with woofers other than original.

For those of you in the know, and since I've been a guest for awhile, ther seems to be quite a few of you, I have to ask; Of the following subs, which do you prefer? The Carver Knight Shadow, the Velodyne SPL 1200,the Klipsch LF10, or the Klipsch RW10? Any input or addl. suggestions greatly appreciated(and respected)
