Thanks, was not aware of the"tacking on to another thread", pardon my inexperience with forums and threads. I'm an old Vietnam Vet not versed in the correct ways of forums. I thought you picked one that had to do with your question...oops I appreciate the advice.

Not the warmest welcome I've ever received. Been a newbie on several great sites but never given zero response or welcome after seven days. I was hoping it was different here with my fellow Klipsch lovers.

Nevermind, I was hoping there was a S/N cutoff but after reading the link I pulled the port outlets and used a mirror to see the red and black plastic speaker wire so that looks like I have the Version 3. Oh well, they still sound pretty magnificent to me. Any suggestions or mods to improve this version of the CF-3? Would really appreciate any help.

Hi, Brand new member here. I'm trying to figure out whether my newly acquired CF3s are version 2 or 3. They have the short ports and were made on the 233rd day of 1995. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
