  1. Oh,interesting. Thanks for the links. If that's the case, wouldn't another pair of SS-1 do the job?
  2. Ok, Now i am confused. I have ss-1 for rear already. I thought 7.1 setup from a 5.1 upgrade is by adding 2 more speakers for the sides. Is this correct?
  3. I am still debating. I am remodeling my ground floor and will have a 12x17 dedicated room for home theater. I will must likely to go with the in wall scw-2 since the room size only has 12 ft wide.
  4. Hi All, I currently have a 5.1 Synergy setup and planning to get a Onkyo 706 to make good use out of my PS3. http://www.klipsch.com/products/details/sf-2.aspx SF-2 front SS-1 rear KSW-15 sub Should I get the inwall SCW-2, SB-2 or SB-3 to make it a 7.1? SCW-2 http://www.klipsch.com/products/details/scw-2.aspx SB-2 http://www.klipsch.com/products/details/sb-2.aspx SB-3 http://www.klipsch.com/products/details/sb-3.aspx thanks in advance, ~joy
  5. The guy from Bestbuy was telling me that coaxial will sound better then optical. Can this be true? Since both of them send out digital signals, how can you actually tell who's better. btw, is there a difference between a $15 optical and a $80 monster optical cable? digital is digital right? is not like my cell phone could send out an extra "0" or "1" to affect the optical cable then why there is a big gap between price? jason
  6. According to my future wife, my allowance for the sound system is around $2000. My choice of receiver is either onkyo 787 or denon 3802 and sub would either be pw-2200 or spl-1200. Since only I got limited amount to work with, maybe you guys could help me to decide which options should I take. Option 1: Buy onkyo/denon and RF-7II for now and buy the RC-7II, RS-7II and SPL-1200 later. Option 2: Buy onkyo/denon, RF-3II, RC-3II, RS-3II for now and buy PW-2200 later. Option 3: Buy onkyo/denon and the Synergy 6 system. No more upgrades If you guys go with option 1, does which speaker to buy next matters. Do you think the RF-3II would be a better choice for rear than RS-7II? Thx in advice. Jason
  7. it's the FSX-12 and it's made in 1996. I'll probably get the pw2200.
  8. i am planning to buy a sub and i have read lots of good things about pw-2200 but my friend want to sell me his velodyne f series which is about the same price as the pw-2200. do you guys know which one is better? jason
  9. $800 for all speakers? if so, where? jason
  10. your mother is buying, what can i say. enjoy what you have.
