If you can't do the KLF-10 then stick with the KLF-C7 for timbre matching.
Yes.it’s the only real option. I put them up in the garage sale section seeing if anyone wanted to trade for heritage.

I don't know how tall a KLF-10 or 20 is but they be significantly better than a C7.
Yeah. I agree. 10s are 38 inches tall. Too big

I'm planning on refinishing the F II's. I don't know when I'll get around to that...as I have a 2 year old and a 4 year old.
I try to price things what I feel they are really worth... I try not to buy into the crazy prices people think things are worth. I'm sure I could get more the the 4.2's but they have new drivers in them, and a lot of hard core Klipsch fans will poo poo this idea, so I priced them lower to help them get over it! Plus, these function, and in my opinion, sound better than the original drivers. I know that for sure as I had two sets and did an A/B between the two. But, sound is so subjective, who can really say one is better than the other until they come listen and decide for themselves.

If you don’t want to refinish them, I can. Shoot me a PM. We can talk

I might have interest in the Fiis. Solid price on the 4.2s though

LOL! I paired myself down a little and the two sets of quartets I still have probably won’t get me across the finish line, sadly.

Or correctly priced like you said

Yes. I was listing other stuff on CL that I wanted to get rid of, so I listed them there, and before I finished listing things, I had 3 people interested. (I guess that's what happens when you don't list them for outrageous prices like the two that are currently on Ebay!) So, I never got around to posting them here.
I wish I needed them. It was a hood deal!

The aforementioned price you are referring to included delivery. For you David, the come and get it price is $350 As-Is. Testing is available here. Anything else would be an upcharge though as my time is not free. If $350 for a single Forte II is still too steep then I suppose you could just wait for Santa Clause. Ho Ho Ho.
Dear Santa Carpenter,
the real Santa’s sleigh is pretty full for me this year; I’ve been a really good boy! I think we are getting into PM territory. Can you send me pictures of the condition? I searched but could not find an old thread. I would have no reason to test them. You are a man of your word. And, on the bottoms, are there holes where the risers were or is it virgin veneer?
Thanks

Without the riser. Risers are simple. I can make a new one if necessary. Original Oiled Oak. Black lacquer upon request.
Thank you so much! I’m super interested in the original OO but the price, if still he same, is a lttle steep.

Hello
is it the one without the risers? What finish is it?
Thanks!

A pair popped up here for $120;a couple weeks back. They were gone before I made up my mind to reach out.

was doing a morning scroll and saw these. A little high for our area but maybe he’d ship. Would be good for someone looking for surrounds to go with KLFs. I believe those are what these are timbre matched with.
Not sure about the academy reference. I believe the academy are timbre match for heritage and have 8 inch woofers. The KT-thx have 6.5 inch woofers.

Great price and has the rarer brown grills like my first pair that I ordered. Someone will be happy.
Are those brown or olive grills? I have quartets with same but not sure what to call it.

Yes it does, as far as the FTC rules and regulations go. Up until about 4 or 5 years ago, "Made in the USA" was perfectly fine for companies like Klipsch and McIntosh Labs, then the regulation changes got that all fouled up.
Made in USA is very important to me too. Try finding American made shoes (Lucchese boots, Allen Edmonds, some New Balance); dress shirts (Gitman Brothers) it get's tougher and tougher all the time.
On the Klipsch speakers, the veneers are made in the USA, but the wood comes from all over the world depending on what it is. The fabric frames are made in the USA using fabric from European and American mills (like Oxxford and HF Suits) I think the lens are all made in the USA. I don't know where Audioquest sources their copper or where there wire is made, or the other wire they use.. The drivers, that I'm aware of, come from the US, Asia and Italy, but nearly all of them get their NEO from China (they control it until alternate sources can be developed in Canada), the networks are made in USA but I'm not sure where the capacitors and other parts come from. That leaves the wood for the plywood, glue, screws, paints and stains, and I have no idea on those.
They are "Union Made" if that makes a difference.
The speakers that come out of the Hope Factory, like the ones below, from my point of view, are built in the USA (also engineered in the USA, designed in the USA). I don't think there has ever been a pair of Klipschorn made yet that were "assembled".
After you tour the Hope Factory I think it is pretty evident they are made by hand in Hope . . . Arkansas with immense pride, by craftspeople like Karen, for going on 75 years.
Awesome! Thanks

Welcome to the Forum!
We are all volunteers here, not officially with Klipsch, but there is a wealth of knowledge here. Did you have a specific product in mind? All of the Heritage line is made in the USA, all of the Professional Theater speakers are made in the USA, both lines in Hope, Arkansas.
MADE IN USA is a big thing for me, and I try to do that whenever I can.

Hello
i need schooling on this to! The Klipsch website says heritage are “designed and assembled” in the US. Doesn’t the mean the components and drivers could be from anywhere?
Thanks

They definitely look like oak but even with the sequential serial numbers the veneer patterns do not match each other.
