    Receiver
    Denon x3500H

    Summary
Played Game of Thrones last night and my group was very satisfied. They experienced no ear fatigue. However, I have very sensitive ears, and I was miserable. I don't think the problem are the speakers -- it's got to be the room -- it's filled with wood panels and wood floors. Lots of hard surfaces that I can not cover.

    Question
What's the best way to warm the speakers even more? I'm hoping to reduce the frequency before it bounces around the room? I heard people add window screens and tissue paper in front of their tweeters

Lol play quieter music or get noise cancelling headphones

Never heard a Kicker sub i liked.

    Have not heard of Memphis.

Also not a fan of kicker, alpine speakers are dope never used Memphis but the higher end stuff is nice.

What model are the Klipsch speakers?  Main thing is, those drivers are designed around the cabinets, crossover frequency, etc., and moving them to a mobile application might "work" but it would be far from optimum versus using a good JL Audio sub or other brand of car audio.

Can't recall the model right now but they're 3600 a pair retail for new ones. I also have the dual 12 sub so they're probably designed to run with that.

They are woofers, a subwoofer is designed for 100 Hz and below for the most part.

Sell them quick for $100 or so each and you could afford one hell of a car audio sub and amp with a little DIY.

Its 2010 so the seats fold down. Not a fan of anything ported I always use sealed enclosures. I have the cabinet speakers too so I actually have 8 of these.

You can always try it and see what happens.  A cars acoustics, and transfer function, are going to be different than in a home setting.  Without knowing the Qts, Vas, and Fs, at minimum, it will be a guessing game.  What kind of vehicle are you talking about?

Jetta. I've done car audio for 20 years but never with home subs.
