I have a chance to pick up an H/K AVR 7200 which is a 7.1 surround. I currently have an AVR 7000 which is 5.1, which is dialed in and sounds amazing.
Do I go to the 7200 and open up a can of worms and try to set up a 7.1 surround. This will cause asthetic problems for the rear surrounds.
I guess I'm asking if it is worth the compromise. (see pic, next post)
I would of course get another pair of Heresys for the rear surround.

IMO, the plus 2 was discontinued for a cost reason and it would ruin PB 13 ultra sales.

LaScala's all the way around would be amazing. I used to have that in my previous H/T. Surrounds on the floor are fine as the tweeter is at ear level when your sitting.

This is a very touchy subject. The reason I doubled up mine is they are exactly matching, and getting the the tweeters as close together as possible.
I wouldn't do it with two different speakers.

Your center channel is the most important speaker in you H/T. All dialogue goes through it, well most of it anyways.
Another cornwall would definately not be overkill.

I may have worded that poorly. The Samson did a good job, but the Bryston was absolutly insane with those passive CS Ultras.

I used to have the PC ultras with the samson S1000 amp. The samson amp was kind of useless. I got a bryston 4B amp to power them. The bryston made them really shine. I'm going to say better than the PB13 ultra.

I don't know the components you are using, but if you are hooking up a receiver, you don't want to kill power to it as it will erase your level settings for each mode every time you kill the power to it.

Looks good to me as well. See if they will send you a pick of the whole magnet, there is usually a K33 stamped on the back of it.

I used to have La scalas the same way. (see avater) Inverted the top two and wholly crap what a difference.
It may be alot of work, but it will be worth it.

Needed-thoughts and advise

The back runs about another 14 feet back and is used for an art table and a computer area. I would have to use stands because I don't want to disturb the other area. Also the speakers would be too far away from the listening area.
