  1. Thanks Michael, but Monolith ins't sold in Italy or E.U. This means that I've to add a coniderably amount for delivering. Moreover, there's a different electrical voltage and I don't know if it could work here. Greetings vito
  2. Hi, I'm in a great dilemma. I've a Pathos TT ampli (great ampli, do you know?) without a phono section. So I'm searching one. Till now betters seem to be: - Black Cube SE - EAR 834p - Rosette 2 (a owned pre) All of them are both MM/MC and this sound good to me. Did anyone faced this problem (a pre for Pathos TT) before? Pathos TT is a hybrid ampli (and EAR should be better) but I like rock over all (even if not hard or heavy), but also classic, new age and jazz. And for this reason, perhaps, Black Cube should be better. Can anyone help me to decide? Greetings Vito
  3. Yes, thank you, I was thinking to build stands from myself but I don't know measures. I only know they have to be inclined about 15° to up but: how much high has to be the front? How to block speaker on (avoiding a sliding backward)? I don't know. Can you tell me? Thanks again Vito
  4. Hello to everyone. Since 1980 I have a pair of Heresy I. I put them in a bookshelf and on the floor. They sound great. Now I would try to put'em on stands planned for Heresy II but I can't find them in Italy. Can anyone tell me if buying stands is a good thing and/or where can I buy them on internet? Thanks. Vito
  5. Thanks to everyone for your help. I was oriented to buy SVS 2039 pci but shipping charge is almost half price of sub. I live in Italy. Moreover, in my country there aren't dealers of main sub productors but Velodyne (not properly cheap) and B&W or Klipsch (even if, in this case, only K models are sold). I'm not well convinced about ASW650 by B&W, which I found at a price of 850 (almost the same in US$). Did anyone experience ASW650? Thanks. Vito
  6. Help! After 21(!!) years I discovered to have a couple of Heresy I (serials HWO 92T278 and HWO 93U301 ) of different years (1979 and 1980, as shown in a my sub in Powered Subwoofers). This wasn't good for my soul. Could there be something bad in their sound? I don't listen any difference, but I can't listen them to high volume. Thanks to everyone
  7. Greetings, I have a couple of Heresy I with serials HWO 92T278 and HWO 93U301 (can anyone tell me what does it mean?), bought in 1981. Since then they are powered by a Denon PMA 950, with 80 A class watts per channel. Now I'm planning to add them a subwoofer, to improve their basses expecially for digital records. I've seen a Celestion sub (S8 model), with 100 watts and a frequency crossover from 80 to 150 hz and an output regulator. My doubt is: can this sub sound fine with Heresy I? The fact that sub has a normal autoamplification could make a differece with Heresy's A class amplification? I'm interested to Celestion on account of its price (about $ 230). In case this shouldn't work, what sub could I buy? Please, help me. Thanks to everyone
