  3. I recently called Klipsch tech support about my non working LF-10, and they concluded that the amplifier is bad and needs to be replaced. But I was wondering if the new amplifier that is going to be put in is going to suffer from the same defect as the old one? Or did they fix the defect on the new amplifiers? Any help is appreciated. -Jay P.S. The person I talked to in the returns department was EXTREMELY rude. I thought Klipsch was supposed to have excellent tech support...
  4. Hello everyone, I have on my hands an LF-10 subwoofer that I bought about 1 1/2 years ago. It hasnt been used very much, and I found that it is not working properly. The indicator light comes on, but almost no sound comes out, even with its level turned all the way up.(you can hear a little bit of sound when your ear is right next to it). And now I found that it also leaks air (I have heard this is also a bad thing for this subwoofer). When I push on the side drivers I can hear air leaking out. When I push on the front driver I can feel a slight clicking or popping feeling in my hand (Is this a bad thing? Being that the 2 side drivers dont do it). So, I assume my only option is to call the Klipsch tech support, but I was wondering what to expect, is there by any chance a recall? If not, how much should I expect to pay for repairs? Thanks, -Jay
  5. Leave it to me to buy a subwoofer that breaks right after its warranty expires Anyway, thanks for the help! -Jay
  6. Hello, I am new to this message bored, and I am impressed with the knowledge shown here. I own a Klipsch LF-10, and I noticed that the bass was a little weak. So I went to go turn the level up, and when I did there was no change in volume from my subwoofer. The sound coming from it is extremely low, and the only way it can be heard, is having your ear right next to it. Any suggestions? I will be watching this post throughout the day, so if you need more info on the subwoofer, or my setup, just ask, Thanks! -Jay
