Actually, that would have made much more sense. There's plenty of crap out there. Why limit your qualifications geographically? I should know, my wife has been driving those crappy Jap Hondas for 8 years now. Sh!itty resale value, too. Hello, Tow in will definitely narrow your soundstage, but at the same time give you more focus. Only you can decide what you like best. It sounds as if you are not shy to experiment, that is the best way to find the sound YOU like in YOUR room. There are generally accepted guidelines, but every room is different. There is no "one size fits all" especially in small or less than perfect spaces. Also, in general, the closer you place your speakers to the wall or corner the more low end response you will perceive. Hope this helps. Regards, Analogman
