  1. Anyone wanting to sell their walnut forte II's please contact me. Thanks, Ohknats
  2. The type is: BKWO and for the serials: OL-341
  3. Well my father finally broke down and is going to let me have his Belle's. The wife isnt very happy though because of the size of the them. But they will sound great with my Forte II's. He bought them along time ago and the speaker numbers are OL-341,342. How do I determine how old these are? Can someone please help. Thanks, Ohknats
  4. The speakers, components, and the wiring are original, I wasnt referring to the speaker boxes when I said that. Make an offer. Ohknats
  5. The serials are 90020994, 90020995 walnut oil. Remarkably they still play. I have owned them both since new. Let me tell you about the pair. As you may notice that one is damaged. My sister was moving them and she dropped it, these were by babies and I almost died!! It knocked off the bottom riser stand and put some bad scratches in the top of one. But nothing is wrong internally with the speakers they both still sound incredible. I have been using them like this for about 7 years. Im offering them here first because someone may know a great wood person that can restore these to almost new. The speakers are all original and there is nothing wrong with them. And I have the riser pieces for someone to get it fixed. Email me if you would like to see more pictures. Thanks, Ohknats Atlanta, GA
  6. Let me give you my advice..I have owned two jeeps in the past year...Let me start with mine before I go on to my wifes. It was a 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee. In 1998 I had to put in a new transmission at 55k miles. At 65K miles it had another problem with the trasmission slipping so they had to flush it out. The battery went dead. It needed a tune up at 60K miles. At 80K miles the distributer was horrible. It got about 15 miles/ gallon. When I finally went to sell it last year I couldnt get anything out of it. Jeeps have horrible resell value. Now one to my wifes jeep. It was a 2000 Jeep grand cherokee as well and at 35k miles the airconditioner went out. $1700 to get it fixed, not thru jeep because they wanted 2500. Her car payment was around $300 a month. And she just bought it only two years old with 25k miles on the thing. So when we went to trade it because I wasnt paying 2K for another crappy jeep product we barely got the payoff on the thing. So we looked into buying another jeep and they wanted 25k for the sorry things. So for the same price we bought a Mercedes ML430 with 35K miles. 287HP and that thing is the bomb. Navagation 6 disc changer real leather seats not that cheap plastic backing like in a jeep. And guess what when we go to trade the thing in a few years it wont be worth 4K like a jeep. And the payment is the same!! I will never buy another american car ever!!!
  7. Well Klipsch comes thru again...it seems that they are going to specially make these for me which is awesome. So if any of you need to update your original speakers klipsch will just pull the old molds from the shelves and make a special order for you. At at cost of $127.01 each. Free ground shipping! Not bad. But I will seek reimbursement to say the least. So if and when I get reimbursed I will have new woofers and almost a brand new pair of Forte II's. Woot, Woot! thanks for all you post and concerns! ohknats
  8. So are their any new speakers that I can buy from Klipsch that would make them sound like the originals?
  9. Can you send me the link to the actual auction? I already deleted it...that way I can have some information for ebay just in case. Thanks, ohknats
  10. Yea I bought them off ebay...and I dont know if he tried to pull the wool over my eyes or what. But when I got them home, we meet in a mutual location. But when I got them home I took the front cover off and noticed that the front woofers didnt look right. So I called him back imediately and he said he never replaced the woofers. So I hooked them up and no bass what so ever. I took one of the woofers off and it was a realistic speaker. So now what, Any suggestions? ohknats
  11. I need two 12" front woofers for my forte II's. Does klipsch still make these? If not are there any replacements ones that will sound like the originals? If so how much will they cost or does anyone currently have some? thanks, ohknats
  12. Since I just won the Forte II's on ebay woot, woot! Im going to retire my quartets. One is slightly, well okay not slightly banged up but the other one is in pristine condition. If you are interested I can forward some pictures. They both play very well and you might can have the banged up one refinished and the riser stand put back on. But I have the riser stand and everything. The serial numbers are consecutive. I will give it until Friday before they go on ebay. Ohknats
  13. Anyone interested in selling please contact me...dont care what price. ohknats
