  1. I have a VTF-2 and for the money (less than 500.00) I dont think there is a better sub.You would nt be disappointed in this one.
  2. Has anyone had any experiences with powered center channels?I have a friend who wants one and trying to get some input for him,and what better place.I always get good advice from you guys. Thanks!!
  3. Im looking for a new DVD player and would like to find a pretty decent one(500.00 or less)but Im not sure which one.I posted a topic called "Higher end DVD" and was wondering about the Pioneer Elite DV-37.After further research I not even sure how good this is.Alot of people say its not that good. When we all buy recievers, subs, and speakers we know what specs to look for and alot of times know what we're going to buy before we get to the store. What about DVD's?What makes a good one from a great one?Its hard to find higher end DVD players. Its hard to find one for over 200.00.Im sure all models in that category are pretty much the same.Im looking for awesome video.I almost never use my DVD for music CD's.I also dont care about SACD.I currently have a Zenith unit(149.99)Thats pretty decent, here are some of the specs. 10 Bit 27mhz Audio 96 khz 24 bit I dont know if this is good or bad ,but are these the numbers that determine the quality of the video and audio. The reason for the questions is that I feel that after all the upgrades to my system Im kind of lacking in this dept. I need some recomendations for a good unit. Thanks in advance!!
  4. Right now Im using a Zenith DVD Player. It works pretty good, but with all the upgrades Ive done this piece seems pretty crappy in comparison with what I have.I have a chance to buy a Pioneer Elite DV-37 for 450.00.I like the Elite because it matches my reciever. Are these more expensive DVD's worth the money?I dont know the model # of mine off the top of my head ,but it has the mirrored front. It also has progressive scan. The quality seems decent but if these other players give a noticeable improvment in all quality aspects I want to get one.
  5. Try coming into Las Vegas.Great weather (about 73 today) and if you actually want to work there are alot of great opportunities here.Keep Warm!!
  6. Has anyone here had any dealings with Def. Tech. speakers?I have a chance to buy a pair of BP10B's for 525.00.I really havent gotten a chance to listen to them but they look pretty nice.Any feedback would be appreciated.
  7. First off the 1500 price is accurate.I think its one of those products that is price protected by the manuf. Second I have a friend with the RSW 12 and it will rattle your teeth. But,I went to my local electronics store yesterday and for the hell of it started playing with the Sunfire True Sub,all I can say is Wow.This liitle thing blew me away.If I could afford either of them I would be all over that Sunfire. The Klipsch might play louder but the Sunfire is deeper. Good Luck and have fun shopping(thats half the fun of getting stuff).

    WOW!!!

I just hooked up my RB-5II's and my RC-3.They are awesome. They are so much more dynamic than my SB-2's.Along with my HSU-VTF 2 Im really liking my system alot. All I need now are the RS-3's to finish it off.Bought Star Wars Episode II today and will watch it this weekend.
  9. Im going from SB-2's to the RB-5.Will it be a noticable difference.I loved them in the store, but it seems everything sounds better in the stores.Im also getting the RC-3 center.I will be using a HSU VTF-2 sub and a Pioneer Elite reciever.

Im upgrading to some RB5-s and am sellin my SB2's and my SC-1.I have them on Ebay right now.Do a search by seller and use this name. d_bogaczyk_2000@yahoo.com The SB2's are 150.00 for the pair and the SC-1 is 135.00..
  11. Do you need to have special stands?
  12. Im looking to upgrade my SB-2's for some reference series.I went to look at and hear the RB5's and they are awesome. The store wants 800.00 for the pair.Well I live in Las Vegas where Sound Distributors is located so I can get these for 575.00 for the pair. The question I have is that after further research I can buy the RF3's for 599.00 for the pair. Now this speaker is much bigger than the RB5's but only a 25.00 difference in the price.Would anyone know why?If you want check for yourself at www.sounddistributors.com.I didnt hear the RF3's but I loved the RB5's and would love to have them(plus they come in cherry finish), but I want the most bang for my buck. Thanks!!
  13. Well everyone I just tried the 3/2 prong adapt and it worked.Im glad it was only a .99 fix. Thanks everyone!!
  14. Yes it is a 3 prong.Could you please explain what you mean. Thanks!!
