  1. HALCRO SSP100 = $10K MSRP. As far as the price of the Lexicon MC12B V4, did you include the mic kit? If so my bad. Yep you can get 20-35% off this stuff but beware of the source. Make sure they are legit. Example: There used to be a "downtownaudio" on eBay in Baltimore Md. Well while in business in bmore there mailing address was a Mail store (did UPS shipping, FedEx and copies). Their reply was we are in NY and that locations handles our mail. We give great deals do you want it or not... Regards, mm
  2. The Lexicon MC12B-V4 is top shelf. With the V4 and the mic kit isn't MSRP about $15K? I understand the HALCRO gear coming out is very impressive. Some state the TactAudio pre-pro has a killer room correction feature. For me the Parasound HALO C1 is hard to beat for the money but no room correction (new software offers advanced EQ'ing). The new McIntosh is getting good press and reviews but no room correction as I recall. Regards, Mike
  3. P R I C E D R O P !! $1795.00 shipped. This is new in the box, never opened. Regards, Mike

  7. Parasound HALO C1 and A51. Q I hope you got your C1 from our forum buddy... Regards, Mike
  8. Parasound HALO C2 or 7100 series classic.
  9. What about 2 x Parasound HALO JC-1 monoblocks (would need a preamp or not depending on the type and number of source components you have)? Absolute Sound and Sterophile loved them! There were also in a few audio suites (non-Parasound) at CES last year as part of demo systems. Regards, mm
  10. Unlike the ongoing saga of cable (I've seen a $3000.00 6ft. power cable!) power is an issue with any electronics. Something is better than nothing. The Panamax is not bad for the money. Regards, Mike
  11. So Dean does this mean you have sold 10000 crossovers?
  12. Due to distribution agreements I have to keep this somewhat close to home. Trust me it will be worth your while... 800.332.3454 - office 410.546.9628 - home (between 7pm - 10pm unless son is playing baseball) mmiles@icrinc.net mmiles442004@yahoo.com

  14. I ran the RX-V2200 for about a year before I bought the Parasound HALO separates and was quite pleased. The new 4600 is supposed to be killer! Regards, Mike
  15. the room is key my klipsch brother. curtains on the windows, room center rug, wall hanging (wifes love this one, really) on the rear wall etc. also play around with placement. try at least 12 -24" from the side and rear walls with some slight toe in to the listening position. it all could be had at home depot or lowes for less than $1000.00 or so. next, thought never heard, maybe the deang crossover mod. hey dean how much is that mod? next i'd upgrade (mo money) the avr. even thought i like yamaha (oh man i'd better duck) the pioneer elite and denon products seem to match better. next, power. yep these cleaner boxes are not snake oil folks. good (stable), clean (filtered) power does make a difference. but that could be more than an upgraded avr. btw, mr. nich. "the soundstage, power, emotion, and depth of my music" you have been reading far to many audioholic and absolute sound reviews dude! Regards, Mike
  16. Just some product information for those interested. http://www.lumagen.com/new_products.htm I seen the demo in the Lumagen suite room at CES at the Alexis Park and it really works! It will improve the PQ of any LCD or DLP projector or RPTV with any source even HD feeds. Regards, Mike
  17. Drag - no prob on the loudness issue. To my ear I thought the RF7s had some distortion at high SPL levels (unlike my older Cornwalls that I miss) but again that is my ear. In regards to icecream my fav is strawberry. Erwinr - yes they do sound great. Regards, Mike
  18. Might be. One never knows does one? The new "Stage" center should be out in a few months or so. B U T the RC7 sound fine to me. BTW, I'll be at CEDIA if you want to get together for a beer. Regards, Mike
  19. As stated in the posting. It is black in color so it is the MK-IV 10B Regards, Mike

  22. I became a dealer in March, after attending CES, and have one unit left in a sealed box. $1895.00 shipped. Contact me at: 800.332.3454 mmiles@icrinc.net
  23. I beg to differ on the loud part. Indy - The best thing I ever heard was a WILSON AUDIO Alexandria with matching surrounds, center channel and sub. Tha package was about $175-$200K in speakers. It was incredible to say the least. To me WILSON is the mach daddy but they are big bucks (sophia - $12K, watt puppy - $23K, maxx 2 - $44K, alexandria - $120K). I will always say that Klipsch is the best value speaker on the market especially if you can snag some older Cornwalls (I wish I never sold mine), Belles, La Scallas or Klipschorns. Rudy - I just could not help myself. The sounded awesome. I heard them last year at CES.
