The drivers are the important part. It looks like the t5000 had slightly better? I don't know. My ears are happy with them regardless.

The one and most important thing I have learned about HI FI. Is that, you have to do what sounds best to you. I would be curious on a direct AB comparison. I will, when I do the wrap around on the klf20s. But the front port will sound better next to a wall. Then a test 18" away from wall. I can even deaden the wall from the back wave.

I just EQd them.... very happy now. Considering they are near field and never had any work done to them. And the cabinets are crap. Lots of potential and upside, me thinks.

This is the worst that I could find on them. Ebony stain, watch it disappear.

I've been listening to them for a few hours. I like them a lot. More lively then the kg4.5s. very detailed highs, but much more upfront with them. My only complaint would be the bass could be more substantial and forward. It mixes well with my 15" sub.

Do you think it was a good buy? Even being the t500?

You can't push them up against walls. Placement is much more forgiving with front ports. Other than that, they are pretty similar. I'm biased, I live full time in an RV. Space is a premium for me.

What's the difference from t500-5000s? I'm nervous....

I got it. Speakers are like dogs. If I had the space. I would take all of them. Good find though.

Where would I find the specs for sealed volume and such? I'm sure there is a sweet spot on size for these drivers.

Really debating to make totally custom to the space cabinets. I've been wanting to do this for some time. Now I have my chance.

Very good condition. Musically great. Cabinets have a couple very little dings or scratches. Both have magnetic grills with badges. 9/10 200$ OBO. Would love them going to a member here. 89121 Vegas. SOLD!
