Thanks for the positive comments JT1, I am very happy with the sound of the Dun's.
The Zen cables thing is kinda weird huh? They have a mesh outer covering that makes them appear to glow when hit with direct light like a flash from the camera or a flashlight when the room is dark. My boys like to come in the room sometimes just to see the "alien cables" as they call them.

As said above....take a hard look at the Bryston, they are exceptional. Also in this product range you may want to look into Krell processors which are also quite good with 2-channel....

May want to check with The Ear, I think he has some Krell running Klipsch. I haven't heard that combo, but owned a Krell amp and they are very exact and very powerful, which could be bright sounding with RF-7's. Then again, it could be spectacular. Any chance you can audition before buying?

The Jolida is an exceptional player for the $$. Swap some tubes and it really shines.

I hear ya, I just noticed the airlines are using much narrower seats in a attempt to make me think I'm gaining weight....the kids sound terrific and you're getting closer to a well earned rest each year....my youngest is 5, I have a long haul ahead still...

Hope all is well with you. I'm actually in the process of selling the B&W's, I went for some Dunlavy SCIV'A's that are absolutely hallucinogenic in my room...I love the B&W's, but the Dun's are going to stay for awhile...
