Hey all. Just found this board and wasn't sure which part of the forum to put this in , but ....
Old school rocker and audiophile . Purchased my Heresey's from Modern Music ( Memphis Tn)in 1980. The label on the rear calls them simply " Heresey" / HBR. The trademark date says @ 1980.
These have the birch finish that I added the Tongue oil to, to liven up the grains. Love my speakers and they are in perfect condition. ( never moved and always maintained)
After reading the board they are matched ( ser #156Y303-304). My question here is ... ( First I love the response and tones no matter if it is classical, jazz , or rock) Did I happen to purchase some really nice speakers that may have retained their original value or did I get something that is not quite old enough to really be " the good ones" ? I am happy either way but just curious. I can take a pic of the labels if it would help to determine exactly what the "Klipsch" world can determine.
