I have been really happy with the Coaster seats that I bought recently.
-
I did some listening tonight. A little Diana Krall (Live in Paris) and a little of The Who (Live at Royal Albert Hall). My system has never sounded better. It was playing loud and clean. I can't really give a technical audio answer, but I am very happy. I also just added some new interconnects (Cat Cables Silvercats) to my front 3 speakers, so they are probably contributing.

I bought my Auralex products from truesoundcontrol.com. It looks like everyone sells their products for the same price. I bought a SFS-112 kit for $600 which included the 24 wall panels, the corner bass traps, and adhesive. I also bought a box of their Q'Fusor ceiling panels (14) for $280 and a Gramma subwoofer isolation platform for $50. They have free delivery on orders over $199 and I receive my items within a week.

Auralex sent a nice pdf file showing a diagram of my room and the placement of the products that they recommended. I emailed them many times with questions about variations and always received quick replies.

The acoustical panels are made by Auralex. Their placement was suggested by the free room analysis that they provide. You fax them a form that you get from their website. I had great email and phone communication with one of their engineers. I just put those up this past weekend.

doudou is exactly correct! I would like to have the grills off but I don't want to take the chance with two dogs.

Thanks Michael. Any particular questions? My equipment is listed in my signature. Yes, I'm running a 6.1 setup. The RB-1080 (2x200WPC) is driving the RF-7s. The RMB-1075 (5x120WPC) is driving the rest. I'm using two of the channels to bi-amp the RC-7 that is the front center. The SVS PB12-Plus/2 has two 12 inch drivers and a 900 watt amp.

SVS warranties are transferrable also.

This is from the Klipsch website:
"This Warranty is only valid for the original purchaser and will automatically terminate prior to expiration if this product is sold or otherwise transferred to another party."

Speaking of Billy Idol, I highly recommend the Billy Idol DVD "VH1 Storytellers". Performed in a small club. Soundtrack is great (even has DTS). I rarely see it mentioned or in a stored. I ordered from DeepDiscountDvd. Steve Stevens is awesome as usual.
Off the top of my head, I would also have to cast my vote for "The Joshua Tree". In fact, I think I will go listen to it. It's been a little while.

JPM, please give us a review after you get it. I was considering this player also.

I think the Denon receiver will work great for you. I used to run a Denon AVR-2803 and was very happy with it. The 2105 sounds like a lot of receiver for the money. If you decide against the DIY sub, I would suggest SVS.

We got Mulligan from a rescue shelter about 6 years ago.

I just noticed that SVS has a white PB10-ISD B-Stock available for $399. I'm sure it will be gone fast! Their B-Stocks always sell quickly.

Michael,
I'll have to see if I still have the color sample at home to remember what brand of paint I used. I believe the color was "Merlot".
