i just received a pair of rp-5's for x-mas. i was under the impression that the ref series was real wood veneer. the spkrs i have are some sort of plastic or vin wrap. what's up with that?

has anyone heard the klf-30's used as front spkrs in ht? i just bought some rp5's that arrived damaged. the dealer said he would replace them with klf-30's. what's up with that? is he making me a deal, or trying to pull one on me? i will not be able to listen to these before i decide. please advise as best you can. thanks

i am new to home theater, i just bought a denon 3803 rec. i am considering either rp'5 or klf-30's what do you think. will i need a subwoofer with the klf-30's, i also have a cr3 center channel and small quint's at rear already i will give them a try to see if they are adiquite. help i need to decide soon. i am ordering by phone and will have system shipped. no dealer close.

do you want to sell rc3II? if so how much?

i am in the search for home theater system have denon 3803 need spks what is the better way to go towers plus sub. or powered towers? also best place to buy? my room is about 30' sq cost is not a problem. i just want the system to sound good. i'm thinking of either rf5's with rc3II and ksw-12. or rp5's with built in sub's to save space and rc3II. dealer in area is limited. please advise if you can. thanks rbrauser
