  1. I knew it. Now need to convince the wife, I *NEED* them. Can not do it on WAF since they will be replacing a set of Bozak Symphonys which she really likes the looks of.
  2. Looked but can not find pricing for a new set of Belles. Stopped in a store town in the middle of nowhere yesterday that is a Klipsch dealer who has a set on display he's trying to unload since no one wants such a big speaker. Also has a set of Heresy he'd like to offload. Can not find anywhere what the suggested pricing is for either on the net to see if we can deal. He's asking $4,500CDN for the Belles. Don't know if good, bad or what. Did not ask about the Heresys since so many on eBay, don;t know why I'd buy new.
  3. Thanks everyone. These are IIs and therefore the back is sealed. I've had them for some 15 years and I'm not looking to make any changes but was more curious to understand why 1 backplate was round and 1 rectangular and since I've only seen 8 ohm versions whether my 4 ohm versions were scarce, unigue or something else? Bottom line and IMHO the only meaningful thing is that in my current setup they sound good. I use them with a McIntosh MC2105 ss amp and MX110 tube tuner/preamp in my main system. I previously had been using my Bozak Symphonys but, they are being moved into my 2nd system.
  4. 1) Cornwall IIs in the early 70s. Heresy IIs since about 1988. 2) About 25. 3) 54 4) Originally, there was only the "Heritage" series. Looked at Forte when I came across a person with the Heresys needing to sell them. 5) Cornwalls - have missed them since the afternnon of the day I sold them. LaScalas or Belles - just don;t have the space for the K'horns. 6) No, I would like to see the Cornwall reintroduced to round out the original Heritage line. The Jubilee was not part of the PWK line when he owned the company. It does deserve a special designation, though.
  5. I have a pair of Heresy II, 1 has a rectangular backplate and the other has a round one. Both a marked 4 ohms. All the literature I have found shows the HII as 8 ohms. Were/are they available in both impedances? Is there any differences between the crossovers? I've searched the site but can not find anything on either issue.
