  1. i'm running them on an old Technics sa-5270. so should i just get one of those usb adapters for now. until i can get a better amp. i also run my tv off my computer for movies, will the optical outputs on those get my better quality? those sound like a good deal for me, right in my price range for now.
  2. my computer is a dell and it has the stock soundcard. i think it is a soundMAx digital audio. my speakers are the la scalas.
  3. i have my la scallas hooked up to my computer just though a regular headphone jack to rca's. what upgrades can i do to get better sound quality without spending a ton. i have over 7000 songs on there and want to be able to play them with decent quality.
  4. what the best amp i can get for a decent price. i'm a poor college student with no money and want to up grade my amp to something better but still afford to eat. currently running an old Technics sa-5270.
  5. i have a pair of la scallas running off an older technics amp model sa-5270. i want to hook up my computer, dvd, tv and cd player to it. how should i do this. can it be done on this amp or do i need to find a better one? what is the best way to wire this? do i need anything special to go from the computer?

  10. I currently have an old Technics tube amp model # sa-5270. it has 165 watts and i was told that it was running 35 watts to my speakers. it sounds really nice like this but i want a newer amp that i can run more things off. in the future i plan to run my dvd and tv on it and possibly my computer. what type of newer amp can do this? and where can i get one for a decent price? I don't know a ton about amps so could someone let me know what is the best for these speakers that can still do these functions. and won't cost too much. and where is the best to buy it.
