  1. Hmmm I might be interested in this set to complete my 6.1.... can you email me the pics? Plus im in IL so we can prolly work something out.
  2. Oak Color 2 KG 4.2 front speakers Oak Color 2 KG 1.5 back speakers Black Satin 1 KV 2 Center speaker The above is a local craiglist ad.... I have kg 5.2's ang kg2.2V center for front stage. I have no rears since I sold my HTIB as as a complete set and had to get rid of my rears after I upgraded my fronts. But now I have a Denon avr-2805 powering only my front stage now. Should I try to offer some for the 2 4.2's for Back LR and for the 2 1.5 as rear centers? This person is local and only wanted $400 for all the speakers plus a reciever and cd player.
  3. Man thats a little expensive compared to what I was planning on spending, My rears will be worth more than my front stage.[+o(]
  4. LOL Yes I am blown away... right of the bat I knew I was going to have to replace my rears because the front stage sounded so much better. I have also decided im in some dire need of so wall panels to get rid of echo in the room. Also thanks for adivce guys.
  5. For some reason I cant get the auto setup to work, so I am manualy doing it. With my KG 4.2's what crossover point should I set the receiver at? Also im now looking to upgrade my crappy rears so what can I use for those? Thanks in advance
  6. I just purchased a kg 2.2V for a center from another board member here to go with my KG 4.2's im looking for surrounds now also and another center since im running 6.1
  7. Thanks for the help guys.. I messed around with it a lil bit and think I got it where I like it for now. I set the crossover to 80 and set all the speakers to small and that seems to pretty good for now. My roomate should be moving this month so I will get my basement back. Then im moving everything down there. So that's when I will start getting serious and measure my basement to get some advice on how I should set it up!! Right now I think im about 11 feet from my TV. My sub is just a generic 12" powered sub that was given to me but it sounds better than the Onkyo HTIB sub at least. Other components meaning besides my reciever is my Sammy upscaling DVD player, cable box and Xbox360. Thanks for the responses.
  8. The crossover setting I guess are only for the sub. With the subwoofer's handy crossover selector, you can set the sub's upper frequency at 60, 80, 100, 120, or 150 Hz. So I want to match this to the kg's? Also what if my sub has a selector to select a crossover point also? Do I want to set all speakers to "small" instead of "large" so that all bass goes to the subwoofer? Man Im hurting my brain.
  9. Ok my TV is a Mitsu ws-55315 I recently purchased a pair of KG 4.2's locally and a Kg 2.2V from Richard here on the board (thanks again!). Richard sure can pack a speaker up!! My reciever is 6.1 so now my dillemma comes to the rears. People with KG setups what are you using? Also if anyone has the reciever that comes with the Onkyo s770 what crossover point are you using? It doesnt let you change crossover settings per speaker just overall setting. One more question I promise lol. How far away should each kg 4.2 be from the sides of the TV?
  10. My baby! Dakota aka Devil Dog Original photo here.. http://images9.fotki.com/v178/fileaDxI/0e306/8/81269/2306349/misc016.jpg
  11. Exactly... I bought some KG 4.2's off craigslist just about 4mos ago for $150. And in perfect condition.
  12. Richard... sent you a PM and a Email. Sorry I didnt get back to ya sooner. I work graveyard shift so I sleep druring the day.
  13. Will this matchup with my KG's?
