Hi. New here, looking for a bit of a quick answer if possible. I just bought a pair of RF3's or RF3 II's (I'm not sure). I think, since they were floor models out of the box I may have been misled. They didn't have the original packaging. In short, I called Klipsch and they couldn't verify which they were from the serial number, and I hope someone out there with the same can help. On the back of the speaker, the serial number starts with: RF3BK--0007#### I know how to calculate the date up to the year 2000 from investigating the forum, but I understand the RF3's were made up until 2001. So calculating is inconculsive. I'm wondering if someone out there with RF3 II's has the serial number with the RF3IIBK--###### or similar to identify. OR, if there is something printed RF3 II anywhere on the back plate sticker. Please help if able. Kind regards, Don Gauthier

Again, I was able to figure out how to calculate dates up to the year 2000, but how do you calculate years beyond?

Well, I just bought a pair of floor model RF3's from a dealer who is dropping the Klipsch line. I was told they are RF3II's but I can't know for sure unless I can figure out the date of manufacure. I found the date calculator from the forum, but what about dates after the year 2000. My SN is written like this: RF3BK--0007#### Does this mean they are from the 7th week of 2000? If so, would they even be RF3 II's?
