  1. I'm renovating a barn and have to fill a 30x30 room with sound. I have the front 3.2 covered and a pair of RP-250S wall mounted in the back but looking for solid ceiling mounts to hold the 2nd pair of RP-250S for full 7.2 sound. Not optimal but the L/R surrounds have to be ceiling mounted. Suggestions? Thanks.
  2. Bookshelf Speakers as Surround speaker. I am planning to setup Klipsch 5.1 (Reference Premiere 260 set) , i have one doubt. RP250S VS RP160M as a Surround Speaker Can i use Bookshelf Speaker RP160M as a surround? I listen to music(via Youtube or Radio) and movies (via Netflix). My couch is next to the wall, and most probably i will Wall mount the surround speaker. I have attached my room dimension. I already have a pair of RP260F as Front stereo speakers. i have to decide between Bookshelf RP160M VS RP250S (Surround Speaker) , which one would be better , shall i choose dedicated Surround Speaker over Bookshelf or vice versa? Thanks in advance
  3. Hello all. This is my first time posting because usually I am able to somewhat solve whatever home theater issue I have. However, this one I cannot. Thank you in advance for your guidance and help. I am currently in the process of rebuilding my home theater 7.2 arsenal with; RF-7II's (Front L and R) RC-64II R-12SW (2x) and RB-61II's (Suround back) Where are my surround sides? Currently next to impossible to find. I would love a pair of RS-52II's and even more so RS-62II's. I do have a pair for RS-42II's but for my own exsentric reasons, I want to go a little bigger. In you opinion, if I am unable to obtain a new to near new condition pair of either 42's or 62's how would one feel about mixing in a pair of the new Reference Premier RP-250's as my surround (sides) seeing as all the other speakers are part of the reference II series? Is this ridiculously taboo and frowned upon? I know mixing fronts with centers is no good, which makes sense. Please help! Thanks.
  4. Update - found and purchased a set. Thanks! Wanted: Klipsch RS52 or RS52 II surround speaker pair, any condition. May also consider RP-250S. Thanks!
  5. I currently have 2 home theaters and am looking to make some upgrades in both. In the main room I have a 7.1 setup with Reference fronts, bookshelf speakers mounted as surrounds and bookshelves in the back. I am looking to replace the side surrounds with either RS52s, RS62s or RP250s. In a second theater I have, I am replacing a Bxxx system (!). It sucks (the Bxxx) and I know it. There I am going to use the bookshelves from the side surrounds in the main room as fronts (at least to start), and would like RS52s or RS42s....or potentially a great deal on some RS35s. With the right deal/opportunity I would even consider replacing the back surrounds in the main room, or get a 2nd set for the second theater. I guess it all depends upon what someone has and is looking to move. If you also have a matching center with your surrounds, please feel free to make an offer including that center. I could possibly replace the center in the Bxxx theater. I'm located in Chicago. If you have item(s) to potentially sell, please note I don't require perfect condition, original boxes, that they be a certain model i.e. don't mind IVs or IIs etc. A good, fair deal is what I'm looking for and great sound. Scratches, a dent or the like is OK, but good working condition is of course important. If you have something to sell or know someone who does, the favor would be appreciated! -- Roboklipsch
