Klipsch sub and Yamaha receiver

I am having difficulties connecting my subwoofer (Klipsch
SUB-10) to the receiver (Yamaha RX-V463BL). I just recently found out that I
needed a subwoofer cable to connect the two. I'm still a little weary on how
exactly to do this as I don't know much about the setup and the manual isn't
geared towards beginners. Any help would be greatly
appreciated, and thanks in advance.

You just need a subwoofer cable: http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=102&cp_id=10236&cs_id=1023603&p_id=2680&seq=1&format=2

Or found at any electronics store, you could buy a monster brand cable too, but you'd be shelling out more money, that's up to you.

It will connect to the back of your receiver in the Subwoofer Output port and then to the back of the subwoofer.

And you probably need to go into the Yamaha's set-up menus and tell it you have a sub-woofer connected and then set the speaker sizes to small, and then set your cross-over settings (unless your Yammy has one of them new-fangled auto-calibration routines involving placing a microphone in the room and pushing GO).
