wuzzzer Posted December 2, 2008 Share Posted December 2, 2008 That's going to be very subjective, however I'll give my experience: I had a pair of RF-7s and then ran across a deal on a pair of near mint Forte IIs for $275. Couldn't pass that up! I set both pairs of speakers up and did an A/B comparison between them and the Fortes won out. I loved the sound of the horn midrange, seemed to have much more midrange detail and clarity. Of course, there is a difference in sound between RF-82s and RF-7s just like there's a difference in sound between original Fortes and Forte IIs but that's my experience.
