Charlweed
Hi Folks! I get a quiet 60hz hum on subwoofer, front, center, and probably rear. I get it with and without the inputs plugged in. Yes, I've tried other outlets, same hum. I tried unplugging speakers. It's pretty much always there, same loudness regardless of the volume setting. Is it likely something is broken in the amp? Or is it more likely a design flaw? Is there a way to fix /hack this problem away? I'm not afraid to open the case, its long out of warrenty, and Im not entirely useless with a soldering iron. risottto
I got the same thing with my 5.1's just spent $64 on a new pre-amp hoping that was the problem, but I get the exact same hum with the new controller. This means it has to be in the amp somewhere. Some insight would be great, would like to avoid having to get it sent off for repairs from a third party. (BTW - I love to take thing apart and solder)
Charlweed
Ok, any warnings about what weirdness I may find inside the case? C

elliot-tronics
Hi, this is a power supply problem and amp will have to be sent for repair/upgrade. Cheers, Elliott
