doobie2
No on the XPA-x, but I have the LPA-1 and an RPA-2 and they are totally quiet with Cornwalls.

doobie2
I bought the LPA-1 as a test and was so happy with it I bought the RPA-2 which is still better. So far I am very happy with both, but I don't have a decent pre/pro to make final judgement. I'm not too woried though, even with a lame 2 channel pre, I could hear great improvement. doobie2
By the way, the feedback I've pick up on is that the XPAs have a slightly higher noise floor than the RPA which is one reason I chose it. It is also a 'pair' of monoblock amps as opposed the the XPAs which share a common power supply.
