Denon 3802 vs. 2802

For no more money that the 3802 is gonna cost ya,I'd go with it.The power difference is not that great.

The SHARC 32-bit processor might be an improvement.But the other goodies are worth it.I like the remote better than the one that comes with the 2802.

I upgraded from the 2800 to the 3801,didn't notice any improvement in sound.My 2800 was a year old when I changed,the 2800 sounded a bit better,in my opinion it does take a few hours for new "anything"to break in.

As far as how they sound on HT and tunes,we love them.

They both drive Heritage so maybe that will answer your question with Heresy.
