edster00
Well, I commited one of the 7 sins of being a male...I started to read the manual on my AES AE-3 Superpreamp. Down at the bottom of the first page is says: Note:This pre-amplifier is inverting. To correct the phase, connect the speaker wire out of phase at the amplifier. (+)to(-) and (-)to(+). Now I assume they know what they are talking about but I am been very pleased with the sound as it is. If I make this change, what difference will it actually make? Why don't they just reverse the colors of the output RCA jacks going to the amps? If I invert the phase at the RCA jacks will it accomplish the same thing (it is easier to do than the speaker cables)? ------------------ 2 Channel System: '78 Khorns w/ALK networks Welborne Labs Moondog 2A3 amps AES AE-3 Superpreamp DJH mods McIntosh MCD 7007 CD McIntosh MR-78 Tuner DIYCable Twisted Cross Connects DIYCable Superlatives (preamp/amp) DH Labs Silver Pulse interconnects (sources/preamp) f> s>
