Sub Replacement Speakers

Recommended Posts

Thank you and yes the daytons are very nice speakers for the money, I'm just
not sure how well they'll work in dual firing sub design in around a 2 cubic
square ft box. I have some experience with speaker building and know that
good sound is in the details. Awhile back I tried to ask Klipsch what a good
replacement for the 6" v200 was and never heard back. Ironically enough I tried
using the 6" shielded Daytons as the foam rubber surrounds in the originals had
disintegrated. Unfortunately I didn't check for clearance of the magnet
shield when I re-installed the amp and I shorted the amp on the shield. I'll try
asking Klipsch again and see if they're in a more forth coming mood.

I have considered buying a single 12" sub and building a new box too it's
specs but I would still need to know the impedance of the bash amp.
