Meriduss
Hi guys, I tried plugging my mp3 player into the "aux" port on my volume control box and only got sound out of my front left and right speakers. Is this how it was designed to work, or is there something I'm missing? Also, I am going to be using my 5.1's for a wedding reception and am curious if anyone knows a cheap easy way to combine the three cords down to one jack to plug into a laptop. Thanks! Meriduss
Please, does anyone have a suggestion? I know there are some of you out there that have the same set up as I do. Could you plug an mp3 player or cd player into your "aux" port on your volume control and tell me if you get sound out of all your speakers, or just your right and left? elliot-tronics
If you want all 5 channels to work then you must have a 5.1 signal going in the back of the amp (front L-R Rear L-R and Center & Sub), your mp3 is stereo sound so you will only get to play your frpnt left and right sats and sub. I also think the (aux in) in the vol control is for stereo input only. The only thing I can think of that create simulated 5.1 signal from your mp3 player is a digital decoder (Klipsch DD-5.1 or some high end Receiver).
