Sperati
My KSW-10 has stopped coming on with anything but a DVD. I have it set on auto. It used to come on with any media (radio, tv, CDs, etc). Now it only comes on when a DVD is being played. This may have started after I replaced a fuse that blew, but I can't be for sure. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
boa12
sper, did u by chance change the bass mgmt settings in your receiver? not knowing your receiver, but see if there's a setting that sends bass to both your sub & front speaks. or probably more preferably set all your speaks to small. ------------------ My Home Systems Page
lynnm
Welcome to the forums!! The fact that the sub works when playing DVD's would seem to indicate that the problem is not with the sub itself but rather with the signal to the sub. As suggested above check your settings. Depending on the complexity of your setup it might make sense to go over each and every setting as described in your manuals. ------------------ It is meet to recall that the Great Green Heron rarely flies upside down in the moonlight - (Foo Ling ca.1900)
Sperati
Thanks for the suggestions. My KSW-10 is once again functioning with all media types. Now I have another problem with it. The fuse blew two times last night while we were playing music at a party. Any suggetions on this one? THANKS
boa12
sper, are you using fast or slow blow fuses? should be slow blow even if it came w/ fast (by mistake). heard you can get the same amp slow blow at radio shack or most electronic supply stores. ------------------ My Home Systems Page
