chrisko6
Hi folks. reading a lot of reviews now i decided to order klipsch speakers. They seam to have a very cool price/performance ratio and i hope they will rock on my place. What i will do: Listen a lot of different music (70%) Watch movies (30%) What i have: place is a little small, 5m x 3,50 m (16.5' x 11.5') for the 5.1 setup. Amp is a Onkyo TX-SR 876 .What i want: Front: RF-63 Center: RC-64 Sub: RT-10D Surround: RF-62 What i don't know: Is this setup to big for my room size? Is it ok to take RF-62 a surround speaker or maybe better Rb-61 withstands? Is it ok, that the horns of the RF-62 are then in ear height when i sit on the sofa ore have the surrounds to be heigher esp. for film effects? Thx in advance Chris from now rainy Austria []
willland
Welcome to the forum. Your projected system will be phenomenal in your room. I have the RF-63's and RC-64 in a room that is 16ft x 30ft with a 10ft/12ft stepped ceiling and my system is more than enough to handle the duties. Your system should fill your space even better. I think either of your configurations will work great. I prefer my surrounds about 2-3ft above ear level while sitting. Bill
