AVL Solutions
Hey guys, Does anyone have a good source for the K-792-KP diaphrams? I just picked up a pair of KP 301-II's, and I need diaphrams. Thanks, Ray Milks AVL Solutions
dollar bill
Didn't these models have a seperate fuse for the HF section? If so, have you checked them?
AVL Solutions
I have checked the fuse. The mid driver plays just fine. The tweeter measures open. Where can I find replacement diaphrams?
dollar bill
If you have already contacted Klipsch directly and seeing as none of the seasoned vets(I'm a rookie) here have chimed in, I would guess either Ebay or you will have to replace them with something else. Good luck and if you do find a answer, post it here to help whoever comes along in the future.
colterphoto1
Are you measuring the tweeter itself or the circuit? There may be a polyswitch in the netowork that blows apart sometimes. If it's the diapragm you need call 1-800-554-7724 Klipsch parts. The same diaphragm does K72, K76, K762, K792, they're just diff magnets and horns. when you take the old diaphragm out of that pro tweeter, there will be oil on it, that is ferrofluid. Keep as much of it in the gap as you can (don't clean it out), it's supposed to be there. Congrats on the KP301 II's with the tractrix horn they'll be beauties when you get em done!
