tom b. 57
I have owned KG5.5's, 5.2's, 4.5's, 4.2's, 4's and 3.2's. Out of all of these KG models, I believe the 4's are the best bang for the buck. If I had to choose my favorites, I would go with KG 5.5's as the best and KG4's as the runner up. I have a pair of KG4's and a pair of 5.5's that I will keep and have no desire to part with. Klipsch got those exactly right. They are great for small to medium sized rooms and work well with vintage units, such as an HK430. I would suggest keeping your KG4's, but, if you can afford both, go get the 4.2's and check them out. You can always sell them if you choose. It's good to experiment. pandaboy
this guy on craigslist is selling kg4.2 with a denon amp and a harmon kardon receiver for 600 do you think that's a good deal? Great deal?
tom b. 57
Depends on what Denon amp and what HK receiver and what shape everything is in. 4.2's around my neck of the woods can be had for $150-200 in very good shape if you are dilligent and don't jump at the first ones you come across. Where are you located? Tom
