swegyptian Posted September 24, 2009 Share Posted September 24, 2009 Does anyone have a setup with any of the smaller icons but no subwoofer? I am trying to decide if it's worth a shot. I know I could just do some RB61's, but I wouldn't mind saving a bit of space either. So, are they tolerable on their own? I have a pair in my bedroom for light jazz and electronica listening (sleepy time muzak) and they do quite well. Not quite the bass that the RB3's had but they're about 1/4 the size and I liked the wood color better with my furniture. For general listening in a large room I think they would be insufficient.
