jackkostus
Hi everybody, I just got great deal on Klipsch Synergy F-3 speakers and I would like to get some advices about what receiver should I get to them? Yamaha, Onkyo, Denon, etc? I read a lot good reviews about Onkyo, but unfortunately don't have $1000 to spend on it. I am looking for something within $450 and I want to mainly use speakers just to listen music and enjoy it, but also someday I wanna hook the receiver up to DVD/Blu ray Player and my LCD TV and central, rear speakers and take advantage of HDMI so I really don't know what to do? The other thing is that I'm NOT going to buy subwoofer, so I would like to hear nice bass from F-3's. If anybody has any advices, I will really appreciate it. Thanks a lot. Bill H.
Denon AVR 1910. Good unit.
Triaxtremec
The Denon 1910 is a great choice but I would also recommend the Onkyo 607. It can be found around $450, great easy to use AVR, plenty of power with clean detailed sound.
jackkostus
What do you guys think about PIONEER VSX918K ??
Bill H.
Not bad, but the Pioneer 1019 is getting rave reviews..............449.00 http://www.testfreaks.com/receivers/pioneer-vsx-1019ah/
mistermoravec
would the pioneer 1019 be enough to power the entire synergy 3 7.1 set? I recently purchased this set from vanns.com and now I am looking for a decent receiver within the 400-1000 dollar price range...I know that is a big range and I am even willing to go more I just don't want to get a receiver that will be more than necessary. The only hdmi things I'll be hooking up to it are my xbox 360 and my ps3. I'm buying it mostly for blu rays/hd-dvds/dvds/movies in general. The pioneer 1019/919 seem to be the best bang for the buck. I don't want to spend more than necessary, but I also don't want to short change my speakers with a podunk receiver. My tv is a sony kdr 60xbr2 rear projection tv, so you can tell I'm not too picky and certainly not bleeding edge.
