slovell Posted January 13, 2010 Share Posted January 13, 2010 Would anyone care to offer an opinion, recommendation, or thoughts for a moving coil cartridge for the above output voltages and music genres? I'm using a JVC QL- Y66F turntable with the straight low/medium mass arm wand and I also have the heavier "S" shaped arm wand. I'm using a tubed Audio Experience Solo MC step up amp into the MM side of a Cambridge 640-P phono preamp. The Solo has quite a bit more gain than the MC side of the 640-P alone. I have Klipsch KG-5.5 speakers so my system leans a little toward the bright side but not overly so. Any opinions, thoughts, and or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
