I had set all speakers on SMALL with a crossover of 100 Hz (still nothing). The RW-10d has a response range of 28-120Hz, so I did not really want to go to a 150Hz crossover.

I'm assuming that you've disabled the crossover in the sub? At the very least, turned it up as high as it wil go?

ya dont want throu put on sub set lp filter on it at 100 max on sub hertz this cross over im talking about is on the sterio itself

in menu for sub can be on wrong setting hertz cheak it out make sure on in menu too if ask

link to your manul reading it now yes make sure manaul mode set sub on in menu

and cross over for sub in sterio not sub is at 150 on pinoneer k then on sub set that crss over ta 80 or 100 k whatebt jits right

make sure uusing all hdmi cables if uuse hd tv blurays for best pic and sound im reaidng in manail now on sub

I set the crossover at 100Hz in the receiver settings. The RW-10d is set in "Lowpass OFF, LFE Mode".

HDMI cables have nothing to do with this. The receiver is not sending anything to the sub, not even in the MCACC setup. I am starting to think it is a bad sub out on the receiver.

so set lfe to 0 on sterio then go back to kilpshe sub setthat cross over in sub at 100 or 80 so dont go above 100 hertz to mid bass area sound funny k

I called up Pioneer. Without much fuss, they said it was a receiver problem. Getting a replacement (in a month).

Still, I wish I had another sub to be sure.
