rsp1068 Posted February 21, 2010 Share Posted February 21, 2010 I had seen an article on this on the web, so for X-Mas this year I figured I would gift one to the wife. I moved all of my serious gear to the man cave, so we needed something upstairs for background music. I run hers through a pair of RF 3's I had, and for the $400 price tag its not a bad little rig, and would be a cheap intro into tubes for anyone wanting to sample them. You wont host a neighborhood block party with it, but through efficient speaks, it fills a good size room with descent sound. The pluses for her were, it has a remote (albeit cheap), it's "pretty" (they have blue l.e.d. lighting @ the base of the sockets), and it has an input for her ipod she received a year earlier as a gift. When she opened it on X-Mas, she was dumb-founded, hadn't a clue, but today I couldn't move it if I wanted too. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
