WMcD
Look at this tread which discusses the K-33. http://forums.klipsch.com/forums/t/132516.aspx About halfway down the thread you'll see a table which includes the K-22-K. I have no info on the K-22-R. It is my understanding that when an R is used, it is applied with a red colored rubber stamp and indicates the unit is a replacment. Malcolm
There is a K-22-R manufactured by Rola, which is different than a K-22 with the big red R indicating replacement.
cousteau
Thanks all - mine has a red dot but no red "r". it is a paper cone and unlike the RC 52 midrange and tweeter with it has the old classic klipsch logo on the back of the coil/magnet. I am assuming the dot just indicates the positive terminal.
WMcD
Malcolm, thanks for picking up the ball which I dropped. It is somewhat frustrating that there are several K-33's and several K-22's. Wm McD
