hules98 Posted April 24, 2010 Share Posted April 24, 2010 i have a harmon kardon avr 240 receiver im lookin for new speakers i have a yamaha sub which is fine and my surround speakers im not sure the brand i just moved they are in wall from previous homeowner can i buy any front and center speakers or do i need new sub and surrounds to mate up with the others i want to buy i was looking at klipsch rb-61 fronts and klipsch rc-52 center Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
willland Posted April 24, 2010 Share Posted April 24, 2010 Hules98, Welcome to the forum. The RB-61's are nice bookshelf speakers and the RC-52 is the perfect matching center. Your HK should blend nicely with them. Try the Yammy sub and if you then think it is lacking, search for another one. The surrounds should be okay for now being that timber matching is not as important as your front soundstage. If they don't float your boat, look for a pair of RS-42's.
