Youngklip
I just got RSW-15 sub. And i been playing around with the polarity and I can hear a change in music. I would like to know how to test the switch to see if it is working. ------------------ Bose Suck..Period
WMcD
Interesting question, as phrased. If you hear a difference, it is probably functioning, and functioning correctly. The polarity reversal doesn't have any possibility of working halfway, from what I understand of typical systems. It would be interesting if you would share you perceptions. The polarity is one part of experimentation with subs. Room placement is the other big one. Gil
avman
the 'rule of thumb' that i've heard on this one is to have someone sit in the listening position, and flip switch from 0 to 180 degrees at the sub location. whichever way sounds like there is more bass, that is where you leave it. avman. ------------------ 1-pair klf 30's c-7 center ksps-6 surrounds RSW-15 sony strda-777ES receiver upgraded to v.2.02 including virtual matrix 6.1 sony playstation 2 sony dvpnc 650-v 5-disc dvd/cd/SACD changer dishnetwork model 6000 HD sat rcvr w/digital off-air tuner sony kv36xbr450 high-definition 4:3 tv sharp xv-z1u lcd projector w/84" 4:3 sharp screen Bello'international Italian-made a/v furniture panamax max dbs+5 surge protector/power conditioner monster cable and nxg interconnects/12 gua.speaker wire KLIPSCH-So Good It Hz! Johno
Yeah, I did the same thing a couple months ago. I gave up. A friend called Klipsch, and they said it is a more useful switch if you have two (2) subs in the room.
