Tom Adams
Bought a couple of these recently for portability/maneuverability solution and it worked out perfectly. The assembly directions are a bit sketchy, but who needs directions when there's pictures?? You'll have to rip down 2x2's to 1.25 x 1.25, but that's not too hard. http://www.harborfreight.com/garage-shop/machinery-accessories/300-lb-capacity-mobile-base-95288.html Tom
fini
Looks nice! Unfortunately, I need one for my Unisaw (w/ Biesmeyer fence), so it's gotta have a 600# capacity. Yeah, it is tough to scootch it around the garage. It would probably be a good choice for my drill press, though! Thanks!
Tom Adams
Your welcome fini - hope it works out for you. Not sure why the 300# rating though unless it has to do with the casters. The brackets are at least 1/8" think steel and the bolts that attach the brackets to the wood are 3/8" with nylock nuts. Seems to me that it would hold more than 300#.
