Dennie
Hey Bill, I don't know much about 1975 Fishers, but if you don't already have that set, you probably don't need the manual for it! [*-)] [N] Just a thought, Dennie []
Bill H.
Just using that for the Picture so folks would know what model I was asking about........... Figured out that Fisher had been sold to Emerson electric in 69 then in 75 to Sanyo. So final thoughts were that this was a very, very low end piece. Not would seeking out.[N]
Dennie
Doh! My Bad! I see where you clearly said "Sample Picture". Thanks for the info Bill! Dennie[:$]
vacumancsm
Don't pay more than $25 for it. It's a dinosaur. Older high end receivers are all over Ebay for $100 or less. Check out Marantz or Denon.
me112233
Definitely worth picking up. I had one of these things (until stolen recently), and it worked wonderfully. I hooked up 100 watt (rated) speakers to the unit, and it sounded fantastic. I know the unit has a low watt rating (I thought it was 35 watts, but 30 could be correct); all I can tell you that back in the day when everyone seemed to care about how many watts you had, my unit sounded better and seemed to be just as loud as other people's 100 watt units. Do note that is watts per channel, not total output. As or worth picking up, all things are relative. If the unit is actually working properly and I could buy it for under $100, I'd be all over it. If they want something over the top, like say $500, I'd pass on it. I mention the "actually working properly" part, as fixing old equipment can be costly. I had mine fixed back around 1999, and I ponied up $150 when I went to pick it up from the repair shop. Yes, I know this post is 2 1/2 years past your original posting; but hey, someone else might be searching on this trying to get information like you were.
