ready4fun2day Posted June 27, 2010 Share Posted June 27, 2010 Many years ago I purchased a pair of KG 4.5's for incorporation into my home theater system. They have served me well and I'm just not ready to put out the bucks to replace them. Unfortunately one of the bass drivers developed an annoying rattle that can be heard at low volumes. I'm not very technical in this area but suspect that something has broken loose in the coil. Does anyone know where I might be able to find a replacement base driver. Yura Posted June 27, 2010 Share Posted June 27, 2010 If you can find someone else with a bad set - maybe you can make a working one out of the two. On the other hand if you want to experiment - i have two 10" drivers from RF-7s. They are slighly more efficient and are obviously newer. Let me know if you want them.
