jorre
Hello to all; I own 2 MCM 4 crossover networks and I am looking for the crossover frequencies. Outputs are: MWM-MSSM-MSM-MTM. I have the schematic but not the X-over freqs. Plan is to connect Beyma Cp-25's to the MTM output but i think that's way too low than the recommended 5 Khz fx. Many thanks in advance. PS:Low connected to K-43,Low Mid to 10" Electro Voice driver;Mid high to K-55 M

colterphoto1
manual attached. Shows 6kHz as crossover point. MCM1900good.pdf MCM1900good.pdf
colterphoto1
network schematics appears that the MSM HF section has 12 db/slope HPF so those just run out until they roll off acoustically, like in early Heritage speakers the MTM has only a blocking capacitor in the M-4-B network at 6 db/octave. Keep in mind that the MTM piezo pack has a bit of network in it internally also. I'd rebuild the UHF section for steeper slope network, possibly adding LPF to the MSM section. Bob Crites would be your man for modifying/refreshing your Klipsch network. MCM4 way.pdf MCM4 way.pdf
