Radmanna
Hello. I find it very useful, to read how very popular albums go through a sequence of re-mastering and releases. It helps to see them evolve from good ole' stereo ... or just mono (e.g., Little Richard) ... to hybrid SACD disks that apparently have the capability to offer three different playback formats on one disk. In a previous thread, handrewmoore turned us onto a link that provides an archive on how DSOTM evolved through many releases. Click the following link that handrewmoore provided us: < http://www.pinkfloydarchives.com/DUSCDPF.htm#DSOTM1 > How can we access similar online archives, for other popular albums, that have evolved to SACD playbacks? Is there one main website, that has these online archives bundled for the clicking? These archives can show us the history of the albums, the SACD playback formats the releases are capable of playing, and other audiophile coolness. Are there other links besides what handrewmoore provided us, that gives a history of how popular albums evolved through a sequence of re-mastering?
